One of Laney Wilson's very popular songs is "Wildflowers, Wild Horses". One of the lines in the song has made a big impression on me when she sings "like daisies pushing through old sidewalk cracks". A member of our family has been in a very bad place in their life for several years now. We had lost hope. But this past year a gradual change has taken place and now this person is restarting their life from scratch. This life change won't be easy but the change makes me think of how amazing it is for daisies to push and push until they burst forth through old sidewalk cracks. What we think can't be done, can in fact happen.
